If you’ve been around this blog for a little while, you know white sneakers are my go-to shoe. For almost all occasions with any style of clothing, I reach for white sneakers. But I was getting dressed to head out the other day I needed something a little more dressed up. Some cute flats, sandals or heeled ankle boots would have come in handy. The white shoes hunt began! To the internet, I went in search of something white I could wear with my wide-leg jumpsuit or a maxi-dress for those out to dinner type occasions.
And I decided to stick with white.
Why? Because if there is one thing I’ve learned over the years of wearing sneakers with everything, it’s how to pair a white shoe with anything. I may be a little late to the party, but I figured a white ankle boot would make a great addition to my wardrobe. So too would some kind of slide or flat. Dressy but still casual. And it wouldn’t hurt, I don’t think, to have some options to dress thing up a bit. I don’t know about you, but as a lover of casual clothing, the past few months has made me miss my ‘going out’ wardrobe. The clothes that require a little more effort and a lot more ironing (gross).
