It’s a funny story, but I was first introduced to Lisa of Lisa Kerr Designs via my book-keeper who is based in Melbourne. A woman I know has started a line, she said, can I pass on your details? I said sure, being mutual friends and all that, and soon we chatted back and forth on email. Lisa sent me some items from her first collection and we continued to stay in touch.
Flash forward a year or so and Lisa was showing her new collection on the Curvy Couture Runway. I was in Melbourne covering it, derr. In a frustrated moment as I searched for a decent angle to get a photo I caught the attention of the lady next to me. Which it turns out, was Lisa herself! And her gorgeous daughter there to see the show. We chatted, they offered me their vantage point and I congratulated her on the new range.
The new range which is now available online! WOO. Lisa sent me through some of the images from her look book and I decide they are just too good not to share. Look and them and tell me you wouldn’t give anything for a beautiful cool winter’s day where you can be in snuggly layers prancing about a paddock. Go on, I dare you.
Shop the new range Fall into Winter and place your pre-sale order on Lisa’s website.
Now what about that model? Feel like you recognise her face? It’s the sneaker Queen of Instagram herself Ms Rhiannon Hennessy. I’ve included an embed of her Instagram so you can click to follow. Watch out though, once just after I’d followed her, she posted a crying video. Now I’m not so crash hot with emotional displays and such so in an awkward eeeek moment I unfollowed. Which she called me on, of course. Ha!
Since then I’ve re-added, love the feed and had the chance to meet and chat with the lovely FlossyLox in person where the Queensland girls gave me endless crap about my inability to deal with other people’s emotions… I feel like now we’ve bonded. So there you go, a second meet cute in the one post.
