Mynt1792 Hearts AU #myntheartsau

Brought to you by Mynt1792

In what is becoming our signature style Liv, Em and I got together last Sunday to grab some photos for Mynt1792. With a recently launched Australian website, the team approached me to put together some photos to showcase the range and let you all know that they were here, go forth and buy all the things!

Well, I might have paraphrased a little, you know how it is.

So with a delivery box full of clothes I set course for Brisbane where we were meeting some of the Queensland Plus Blogger ladies for dinner. Mexican food was eaten, and the wine was drunk, and the bonding was had. A good night and around 2am I poured myself in Liv’s guest bedroom only to wake the next morning to Liv (and Neo, Ben was a little slower to get moving) outfit planning like a mad woman.

IT WAS GO TIME!

Take One

Despite the rather hot and humid day on Sunday we managed to put together some outfits from the items we received despite desperately wanting actually to run for the beach with eskies of icy cold wine.

I’m wearing a pencil skirt that caught my eye because of the cut out detail, the possibility of double work and play duty and the rich navy colour. Paired with the simple white tank and nude shoes, it’s a simple outfit that would be easy to wear to work, and then out to lunch, back to work then out afterwards for dinner. A great transition piece this skirt is so easy to wear and will be just as handy come winter.

Liv put her maxi skirt with this colour block blouse; the combination was airy enough for her to manage in the heat and comfortable enough that she could wear it shopping or to lunch. I thought this top would work just as well for me for work.

Em paired her simple black tank, an essential every closet needs, pearls that were a gift from Liv and some nude heels that if they were the right size I’d pinch them. Keeping it simple helps the electric blue of the skirt pop. Again perfect for work or play.

Take Two

With Ben by our side, we ventured out into the now beating sunshine to grab more pics. Neo stayed home to babysit the air con. How I wish I could have been Neo that day, but alas, there was work to be done. These photos were looking like they were going to be all about the dresses…

Then Em pulled on this skirt, and we all oohed and head over how great it was. I had a case of major skirt envy. I’d made an attempt to steer clear of my usual black and white combos, and now I was a sad panda. She tucked one of the colour blocked blouses into it, and it was perfection. It’s my favourite outfit of the day!

Luckily wrap dresses, and I go way back and this one certainly pepped me up! A beautiful print, easy to wear, this dress (when it fits a little better, darn you Christmas) will be a staple for me. I was thinking work with tights and a cute heel. But for now it’s a mini perfect for tan accessories and showing off my tan.

Liv showed us how to wear the heck out of the tan and black shift dress with her nude sandal wedges and, as usual, killer accessories. This simple dress, which I would absolutely wear for work takes on a very Liv, very not office style with the addition of the gold statement necklace. I think that’s the standout thing for me with this range, it would provide me with a much-needed wardrobe boost with my office corporate items. There’s just not enough of that available in Australia.

Suger wears: Mynt1792 Confetti Wrap Dress (Size 24)

Em wears:Mynt1792 Rene Pencil Skirt (Size 20) & Mynt1792 Lillian Top (3X)

Liv wears: Mynt1792 Sheath Dress in Tan (Size 24)

Welcome to Australia MYNT 1792

Brought to you by MYNT1792

You might have heard the whispers around the interwebs that Mynt1792 had launched an Australian store. The rumours are true, and they have asked me to share the news with you with an outfit post or two. An easy task if you consider how cool the bomber jacket I’m wearing is.

Super easy. It’s been one of the only things that has convinced me to remove my 17 Sundays bomber. The other one, for both jackets, is the heat. Luckily it’s been raining on and off which has decreased the humidity on occasion, so I’ve had plenty of excuses to wear a jacket, albeit a light one.

This outfit was for a casual get-together after work one day. In the early evening with shorts on the bottom, the bomber was the perfect partner in crime. It’s beautifully made and feels like a dream to wear. Also, pretty light and easy in this weather, which is a bonus. I’m wearing the 20W for those playing at home.

Shorts with some wedges or stacked sandals like these Target ones from last year are great for afternoon BBQs or just hanging about. You look like you’ve made an effort, but it’s comfortable. Bonus points for being cool in the heat and being able to jump on the trampoline if required. Shorts are where it’s at; you’re going to loooove these chambray ones from 17 Sundays.

And then coming soon Liv, Em, and I have arranged an extravaganza in the girl gang post format. The actual plan for the sponsored post spot. It’s a crowd favourite and something I know you guys love because of the different shapes and sizes in the range. So hang tight, we had some sizing issues, we WILL be back. Until then, shop the Mynt1792 range via their Australian site here.
