Suger’s bumper plus-size fashion directory

Welcome one and all to Suger’s BUMPER plus-size fashion directory. After the success of the list from Melbourne Fashion Week Plus (I know some of you still refer to that), I thought it was time to start compiling a list of stores for plus-size women. So, no matter where you are in the world, there should be something here for you. That’s exciting, right?

This is a list of stores that offer plus-size customers a selection of clothing just for you! I mean, come on, so much awesome.

I don’t know about you, but for me, when I started to delve into the world of online shopping, I would stumble over a new store, and it would blow my mind. Then the next, and the next, until a world of fashion choices was at my feet with just a click of a mouse. So good. I mean, you just have to look at my outfit gallery to see I’ve tried everything! Now you can too.

So, let’s get going, alphabetically, shall we?

The A to Z of plus-size fashion online stores.

Are you an owner of a plus-size fashion brand that’s not listed in my plus-size fashion directory? You’re welcome to get in touch, just email me at melissa{at}sugercoatit.com and I’ll check you out. Please include “Plus Size Directory Listing” in the subject line so I don’t miss it.

And there you have it. I’ll be sure to update items as they come through, and the descriptions as well, if they specialise in a specific style or occasional types of wear, such as activewear, underwear, or special occasions. I’d like to add some special-occasion items, so let me know.

Is your favourite plus-size fashion retailer listed? Let me know in the comments if not, and I’ll be sure to review them and add them. Finding the plus-size fashion directory helpful? Please tell a friend or share the post.

  1. I think Sydneys Closet owns special occasion but Nordstrom, Saks and Igigi are great too, and just generally Society Plus, Navabi, Kiyonna, UrbanOG, Alloy Apparel might be worth adding. Especially Alloy, I shop there often because they sell tall lengths in plus size which never happens.

    1. This is the BEST! Thank you Melissa. That Alloy one is new to me and I love the tall lengths thing. I get asked about that so much. You’re the best. x

  2. Woolovers for knitwear

    1. Aaawesome! And a W, even better, not many of those. Haha.

  3. Thank you thank you!!!

  4. Such a great list and much needed resource! Well done! Another great option is Leina Broughton – now stocking up to size 20 with 22 on the way soon.

    1. Thanks Andrea! I’ve been meaning to do something similar for years and finally got around to it! Excited that it’s live and out in the world. I’m thinking I’ll add the brand you suggested one they stock the 22, with 20 as a cap right now, it’s not reeeeally plus. Can’t wait to see them launch the wider range though. :)

      1. That makes sense. Very excited to see this list continue to grow and encourage more brands to expand their sizing! 🙌🏻

      2. Me too! i’ve already added SO many today. It’s so exciting. I’ve even spotted a few that have grabbed my attention personally. Always a win.

      3. Just spied a newbie! Lindy Bop – lots of fun, retro-style dresses, sizes 6-26. lindybop.co.uk – ships to Aus! (I’m on their site in a mad add-to-cart frenzy! Someone stop me!)

      4. Hahahaha. Good luck with the frenzy! Thanks for the addition, nice job super scout. Much appreciated. ;)

Macys has the best range of plus size clothing. Plus I used to buy from a site called dream diva, based in Perth. They had lots of evening wear

    1. Ahhh, I’d heard of Dream Diva and forgot them! Whoops. Macys too. Thanks lady.

  6. This is a great list. I wasn’t aware that there were so many.

    1. Same! And more just keep on coming. The best.

      1. the link isn’t working to Alison, and
thanks again for this list I keep coming back to it

      2. All fixed! There were a few that had ‘broken’ due to website changes, I’ve fixed up most of them. Thanks for the heads up!

  7. Awesome list. Some new places to check out to keep my shopping addiction going

    1. Thank you! Happy shopping. ;)

  8. I don’t think you mentioned Estelle…

    1. I didn’t. It’s on the list to be added though, thanks Rach!

  9. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Another really good one is Violeta by MNG

    1. Oh yes! I noticed they’ve just started stocking at The Iconic, which is SUCH a win.

  11. Thanks CB! I’ll have to update the list.

Anna Scholz (from the UK) is another one – expensive, but she does amazing sales. Every item I own was purchased at 70% off. SHEGUL NY, Rachel Pally and Mei Smith (from the US) are other options I’d recommend – they also fall into the designer/luxe category – definitely a quality over quantity buy.

  13. Thank you so much for this list ❤ I stumbled across your blog actually by searching for work clothing in plus size. So happy I found you and that you are Australian as well.
Here are a few more that I can think of off the top of my head to add to your amazing list.
    Always for me
Woman Within go up to a US size 48 and have extra wide shoes as well
    Sears
    Always my size

    1. Awesome! Firstly, welcome and I hope you have a great time here. And secondly, thank you for the additions. I’ll be sure to add them at the next update. Much appreciated.

  14. I have found Zulilly’s sizes are not very accurate and run small…just FYI for y’all 😊

    1. Good to know! Thanks for the tip lady. x

  15. Great list, there is also Kennedys Boutique in SA I think. https://www.kennedysboutique.com.au/

    1. Thank you, Michelle. I’ll add them to the list at the next update. Wooo!

    2. Thank you, Michelle! I’ll make sure I add them.

  16. Hey Sugar! Love this and your work, probably seen me ask question on your YouTube channel! It would be cool to learn where these brands are based and also cool things like if AfterPay is offered and/or delivery times to certain parts of the world. I’m not sure if your following is mostly Australian but I was in Aus when I first was told about you and now live in Canada so would be cool to check out which would be best for me to order from! Just an idea. :)x

    1. Oh hey! You were some of my FIRST comments on YouTube, so thank you for doing that. It was the most exciting thing for me.

This is such a great idea. I might have to put some time into visiting them all again and getting their shipping info… I feel a table coming on! Haha.

  17. Thanks for sharing this amazing list and very useful resource for plus size women. Many plus size women find very difficulties to find the right size of lingerie because they never get the right place for shopping. I have been shopping plus size lingerie from Cosabella brand for many years and thanks to them, the stuff and fabric are really very nice.

    1. Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll have to check it out for inclusion in the next update. Every woman needs somewhere great for beautiful lingerie.

  18. Hi Melissa, excellet list! If you also accept men brand here we is Hockerty.com. We tailor made to measure clothing since 2008 and we are proud to allow people from all over the globe to dress the way they want without size limits. All our products are tailor-made so we don’t have sizes and at the same time we have all sizes. It would be a great honour being part of your list. Best regards.

    1. Sure, we’d be happy to take a look and all going to plan, add you at the next update. Could you please email me the details to melissa @ sugercoatit.com, thank you. :)

  19. Recently I have bought a few tops for my aunt. And, she really loved it. The shopper was really cool. https://kitaku.com.au/

    1. Amazing, Liam. Thanks for sharing. Let me know if the store would like to be added to the directory when we edit it next. :)

  20. Thanks, Melissa, for your response. Please, add the website to the directory, in your next edit.

    1. No problem, I’ll add to this for updates now. :)

  21. Like linen dress so much, especially casual and size plus

    1. For sure, who doesn’t love Linen! If you want to be featured in the list (and your range feature plus sizing) please email me per the details above.
