Hello Spring {Ignore the Rain!}

There is one item of clothing in my wardrobe {a recent addition, mind you} that I know I am going to wear through Spring and well in to Summer. And it is the beautiful long line shirt pictured above. So light and floaty. You really don’t feel like you are wearing anything. I learnt this dressing tip from the hot park mum‘s. Quality fabrics, low fuss, beautiful neutral colours. And layers. Lots of cute, light layers.
Now as you can see, yesterday Spring turned on the rainy, windy day so taking ALL the shots with no jacket would have been impossible. There is one though. One that I didn’t chop my head off in. Haha. Those on my facebook page would have have seen the first image and heard me complain about how hard it is to take these photos on your own. Fashion bloggers, I salute you.

The long line shirt was gifted to me by Autograph Fashion. That link, is to the facebook page, I would love to see some of you positive, wonderful women there. Let’s support a brand turning out some seriously wonderful clothes. I was not paid for this post. But I did get to keep the clothing loot!

  1. You look great! I think the windy day was a good thing, the light cardi/shrug over the top looks amazing. LOVE.

  2. Ooh I like! great top that you would wear heaps :) I second the cardi too, love the layering! Do you have a tripod?

  3. Woo hoo sexy lady! I took my mother in law shopping the other day at Autograph for a wedding outfit and, i have to say, i was a bit sad that i'm too small to fit into their clothes – they have some gorgeous stuff! And, as a small but CURVY girl, sometimes i have a problem finding clothes that are cut right for my shape, even if my clothing size is not considered " plus "…

  4. Love your second shot! The pose, the layering, the beautiful soft fabric billowing in the breeze – catalogue material.Very nice, need to nab me a couple of those.Thanks for sharing the tip xx

  5. Yep, the second shop is just so high fashion!I love the barely there fabric and of course the shoes:)

  6. I love thin floaty fabrics for shirts too.A tip for photographing yourself. Stand where you want to pose, then mark the spot where your feet are, and where the top of your head reaches with a bit of chalk or tape or something. Go back to the camera amd position it so that both marks are visible. Then remove the marks unless your shoes and hair will hide them and "strike a pose"! Just like Madonna.

  7. I love long line tops and tights, it's one of my favourite casual looks. You look great in this outfit! :)
