You had better read this quickly. Who knows how long I will leave this up for when I have the opportunity to read it over tomorrow. In the harsh light of day. Sober.
Well, people out there, today was my Hubby’s younger brother’s wedding. Yay. So exciting. We are here at the tropical (read: humid) location enjoying the festive cheer. In fact Hubby and I have partaken in the festivities so much that we have returned home in the first car load. With the infants and their mothers. That is how badly we have managed ourselves.
Drunk. Basicially. Soooo. Here goes. Have you ever noticed that the journey home takes heaps less time than it takes to get there. Why is that? This afternoon it was because we drove there but walked back. But I mean the other times. What’s that about..?
And have you noticed that wearing really high heels actually hurts more when you take them off. The balls of my feet are burning, even after a cold shower, and they certainly didn’t hurt this much earlier in the evening. In fact I felt nothing at all as I watched Hubby show off his dance moves. It was one of those evening’s where I got everything I wanted. Like, for example (and yes this ties back into Hubby on the dancefloor) I shouted;
Hey, do the sprinkler. And hubby did.
I think maybe I should have purchased a lotto ticket, such was my level of excitement at this occasion. Maybe you won’t get it. But seriously, for those of you that have seen my Hubby do the sprinkler dance move, you know the joy asscoiated. The pure, archangels singing on high joy. Plus the hysterical laughter that ensues.
I think I’m rambling. But hey, what do you expect. I think I just drank the venue out of Vodka and Raspberry.
Plus, have you ever noticed that nobody is ever ready to go at the same time. It’s strange really. You all managed to come to the party together. Why when the time comes can you not manage to leave together. And is it better this way anyway..? It would probably be rude for 9 people to climb into a car and exit a party. Especially at this stage in the evening. What a downer. Boooo.
Anyway. That’s me. I can barely keep my eyes open. It’s been a long day. We flew out of Bris-Vegas this morning, after doing the 2 hour drive to the airport with a stop over for a giant serve of Maccas before landing at the wedding location, having some lunch and getting ready for the ceremony. Oh ok, I had an hour nanna nap in the middle there somewhere. They were playing Top Gear on the plane and I was laughing waaaay to hard to sleep so I had to nap when we got here.
So this is it. Definately finished now. Is it dribble? Yep, probably. But hey, what can you do.
