My Town – Historically Inspired & So Darn Cute


My hometown is pretty darn fabulous if you ask me. And you should, I’m an expert. It’s filled with historical buildings and the types of building features that just makes you wish you came up with them. Enjoy my photographic tour of just a few I visited today on my errands run around. Oh and just in case you were wondering I added a 60’s effect (from http://www.picnik.com) for that vintage feel, my camera has not once again won the battle.

    Only been there once (went to a wedding up there believe it or not) and I thought it was gorgeous! If it wasn't so far from my family I'd move there in a heartbeat.

    You're right, Gympie does have some beautiful old buildings. It kind of reminds me of Maryborough. Every time I go through either of them, Joel and I are wistful as we look at those old buildings, always wishing there were more of them, instead of Brisbane's ever growing urbun sprawl.

    I just love old buildings! Great shots. You would love where I live, Windsor, just outside of Sydney, every second building is OLD! The buidling I work in was built in 1834!
