My Town – Historically Inspired & So Darn Cute

My hometown is pretty darn fabulous if you ask me. And you should, I’m an expert. It’s filled with historical buildings and the types of building features that just makes you wish you came up with them. Enjoy my photographic tour of just a few I visited today on my errands run around. Oh and just in case you were wondering I added a 60’s effect (from http://www.picnik.com) for that vintage feel, my camera has not once again won the battle.

My Favourite Home – Hidden behind these trees is a crumbling beauty just waiting for a renovator like ME!

Don’t you just love my town? I know I do.

  1. Wow, can you also take plenty of pics during and after the renovation of that grand dame? I'm pretty sure that she needs your touch!

  2. Only been there once (went to a wedding up there believe it or not) and I thought it was gorgeous! If it wasn't so far from my family I'd move there in a heartbeat.

  3. I love Qld towns that have kept their heritage buldings. Great shots.

  4. Lovely! I really enjoy architecture shots. These are beautiful.

  5. You're right, Gympie does have some beautiful old buildings. It kind of reminds me of Maryborough. Every time I go through either of them, Joel and I are wistful as we look at those old buildings, always wishing there were more of them, instead of Brisbane's ever growing urbun sprawl.

  6. So beautiful, I love old buildings. The antique store looks like an old town hall or something. Really, really nice.

  7. These are out of the world arts. May Jesus preserve them all eternally.

  8. I just love old buildings! Great shots. You would love where I live, Windsor, just outside of Sydney, every second building is OLD! The buidling I work in was built in 1834!

  9. Wow! I can't wait to see the gorgeous building get a makeover once you lay your artistic hands on it.Loved the great pictures you posted :)Keep up the wonderful work :)Hope to stay in touch.Cheers!!
