Morning Sugers, it’s black and white week for Aussie Curves so here I am bright and early because well, besides stripes, black and white is sort of my thing. normally I add a pop of colour here or there, but today I went minimalist and stuck rigidly to the theme. I even considered turning the images black and white but the light was just so darn pretty, I didn’t want to. I can be a stubborn so and so when I want to be. But you already knew that.
This is one of those outfits that I can get away with at work, wear out to dinner {sure I could get mistaken for a waitress, but whatever} and pretty much anywhere. Throw on some flip flops or flats and it’s a chic casual outfit. Love that. I love that a monochromatic look can and will take you from boardroom table to lounge room floor. Easy and oh so classic. You just can’t argue with a classic.
The only issue I really had was what sort of black and white ensemble I wanted to show off. Something from the office, something featuring my black and white stripe blazer from Virtu {again!} or something like my black boyfriend shorts from 17 Sundays paired with a simple white tee and sneakers. The answer was delivered in the form of some black skinny, cropped jeans from Torrid. Hotness in a pair of pants. So I wore those. Fresh from the parcel to you. Let’s not discuss the fact that the seam of the general butt region has given way and needs to be mended… I think I just got a faulty pair {they were over stitched and sending them back would cost me more than I paid for them. Sigh. Luck of the draw and all that.
So here I am. Black and white week. I’m pretty darn happy with the outfit. I do sort of wish I’d added my pink heels though. Haha. Check it out. What say you?
