So you guys know I popped down to Sydeny, right!? Oh, you didn’t. Whoops, that’s because it was a surprise! When Italy was cancelled I had a few other events etc that I had rsvp’ed no to that I was now able to attend. I had a bit of a sook to Hubby and he was cool enough to say it was fine to dip into our savings and go. Love that man.
So working with Dani I planned and booked my visit. Keeping it all very secret squirrell. I was to be a surprise guest at Dani’s Girls Night In – Curvy Girls Fashion Swap. Feeling the pressure of being a surprise guest was the least of my worries when upon arrival in Sydney I got a tickle in my throat!
Uh oh.
I was sick and on my way to the biggest party of the year. Sitting in the car, would not be an option. After about a million trips in the lifts to load all, the cool goodies and prizes Dani had managed to secure, the food, the DRINKS. Soon it was time for people to arrive.
The surprised face of the day HAS to go to Corrine while the best surprised line goes to Caitlyn. But best of all HAD to be Gisela who said, while we all sat in the spa, sooooo, who’s the surprise guest!!? We all awkwardly laughed and said, errr, me! Sorry to disappoint! Haha.
The party continued, lots was raised (I’ll leave the details to Dani to announce) and we had an AWESOME night. Despite the fact that I was feverish, sick and losing my voice I laughed, squealed and woo’ed my way through the night. A big thanks to Danimezza for the event. Well done lady, I’m so proud of you. Thanks to the ladies all of whom made me feel welcome in a crowd that are used to hanging out together.
Up next, shopping, hanging out and more blogger meals before finally going home to my Hubby. It’s crazy how much I miss that man after only a few days. Sappy. But true.
