Facing the Facts

There is something to be said for taking a lot of photos. I have stacks. I wish I had more of Hubby and I. But mostly, I have heaps. I was flicking through some tonight {as I synced every device I own!} and this photo from the start of July grabbed my attention. The one on the left.
You see Thursday I was having a vanity moment and I took some photos using the iPad. Playing around with filters and settings while laying on my stomach propped up on my pillow {yup, that’s the blue and white thing that makes me look like a floating head}. Yeah yeah, I was bored. Don’t tell me you don’t do the same thing. Sometimes. Maybe? Anyway, the photo of the right is from then.
Sure the setting, the camera and the pose is not the same. this would of course factor into the look of it as well. But what struck me is the difference in my face. And really there is only 4kg difference between when these were taken. It might as well be 15! Puffiness and bloating be gone. Not to mention how much clearer my skin is now.

Err, cough. So total vane moment over. Mostly. But I really must take a deliberate comparison photo. Then the vanity can continue. Another day. I’m sure we will all look forward to that happening. So yes, there you go. The proof is in the not eating pudding {HA! See what I did there!?}.

8.1kg and counting.

Hoping they won't offer me lollipops though ;o)
