Now THAT fits the budget!

I went in to Coles to shop. For a few things we needed. And then I saw it. My Coles had been transformed to include a big ass selection of the brand, spanking new Mix range. I squealed a little, and I wish I could say on the inside. There was still a women unpacking some of the items. I started chatting with her about them. Asking about the sizing and the response.
I found out that it seems the XL is about an 18, in standard sizing. She was the one that told me nothing over $39. There are some great items in the range. And given that I am a 22, I don’t think I’ll be wearing the cute dresses or spotty bikini’s anytime soon. But some of the cardies, summer dresses and basic tee’s etc might work. She said response had been great. Lots of looking and bringing family and friends back to check it out.
In fact I had planned on buying the night dress/summer dress. You know me and stripes. Right!? Except, I forgot my pay cheque {literally!} hadn’t cleared in the only card I had on me. No frivolous purchases for me. I almost had to put some of my groceries back. Whoops!
So tell me, will you buy clothes from Coles? Or is it just me?

  1. Nope it's not just you, I am super excited to find a Coles near me that stock the range so that I can go and check it out! I remember I tweeted you about it a few weeks ago and I can't wait to get some really afforable pieces to add to the staples of my wardrobe…perfect timing for the change over from winter to spring/summer.

  2. I just so happen to be wearing a damn cute little frock that I picked up last night from Coles. Loving the range!

  3. I was so excited when I got the brochure in the mail, I went to Coles a day early & haven't had a chance to go back! Talk about premature shopping….I saw that they where going to be in Gympie & I knew you would be there! lol :)xx

  4. Snap. Not just you. I brought up about the sizing on my post today – hopefully the range will extend. I know that I'll be able to get my teenage daughter some great things that look fashionable but won't cost me a fortune. I'm stoked! The beach bags would make great pressies too.

  5. Would you believe I've just done my first shop with Coles online … I'm going to sneak back in and see if they've got this range online … what a bonus that might be … then again!

  6. i too noticed this brand new section in our local coles. xo.

  7. Oh wow, can't wait until my Coles gets that. Not just for me but for my teen daughter.About five years ago there was a Coles nearby that had a range of clothes up to size 24. I remember getting a leopard print skirt from there. Unfortunately as soon as I found it they discontinued the line. Maybe they will add a large size range in the future.

  8. I saw the range advertised in our Sunday paper, but we don't have it in store yet. I can't wait to check it out!

  9. New store coming to Coffs soon, hoping they put the range in there :)

  10. Um, no, not just you, I'll be going to check out the Coles range too… Saw the catalogue and love the stripey t-shirt… I do wonder what Coles is planning by adding apparel!? Weird…

  11. its a good news for me
