If advertising my blog was my kind of thing, I'd pay $10 per month for a small ad space on your blog.I base this on what other blogs' advertising rates are and their stats. Eg: Sometimes Sweet receives 8,000 page views per day and her rate for a small ad space is $60 per month. :)
14,000 I need to start blogging about my family stickers dont I? : ) Thats awesome suger. If I had something to advertise i would. But you know I dont. anyway good job lady!
I charge $10/mo for my ads (or $100/yr). Right now I get about 18-20k pageviews/mo, if that helps. When I post more often, it's higher. I've had ads on other blogs of similar size and found that the click-thru wasn't all that great, which is why I've kept mine low. I also have a blogroll, with titles and thumbnails, and ppl tell me they get a lot of click-thrus from that. I'm not a very good marketer so I may not be one to go by. I usually just end up giving it away! :)
I haven't every hosting advertising, but advertise my blog on a few different sites, so here are the things i look for when I'm going to advertise somewhere:Where will the ad be placed- I like it to be placed 'above the fold' (aka: you can see it when you first go to the site). Sometimes if ads rotate, then as long as there's a few spots above, that's okay.Sponsored posts- I like it when I'm getting not just an ad on the sidebar, but some sort of post during the month. Maybe it's just one post where you feature all your advertisers, and ask them each a question, or maybe each advertiser gets a guest post?Community- Generally I'm looking more for blogs that have lots of comments (a less hits), as opposed to blogs that have lots of hits (and no comments). Because it means that the readers are engaged, and are likely to listen to the 'recommendation' or the blogger (which is basically what ads are).So yeah, I would definitely be interested in advertising with you. Probably around that $10 a month sort of price tag?
