I bought a striped skirt yesterday at Valley Girl. Was about the only thing in there that fit me and I just love it. It is very similar to the one you have up there. My plan this spring/summer is to go all out with colour. After living in blacks and denim all winter, I need lots of colour. And I am going to be daring and mix them all up. I will probably get it all wrong, but i don't care. Colour colour colour!

I'm feeling a whole 70's vibe this summer ( it may be because " That 70's Show " is my fave sitcom ever and i'm only now using it as style inspiration ) which means i'm digging on maxi dresses and maxi skirts, got me some over-sized metal sunnies and will be alternating between gorgeous flat sandals and super-huge wedges… cant believe i used to be so afraid of maxi's, thinking they would swamp my 161cm height. Once i succumbed and actually tried one on… they make me look long and lean(ish)!

I'm with Amy, I'm really into the maxi dresses at the moment. They're sooo comfy its like secretly wearing your pjs all day or something. They make me look much taller…I'd even go so far as to say statuesque. Well that's how they make me feel anyway. So far mine are in leopardy animal print and a lovely one with these tropical looking pink flowers on it…very tiki island goddess. Well, that's what I keep telling myself :P

I'm not a fan of stripes or spots, but I do like checks, (which are stripes in both directions) and swirls, (which are spots gone crazy). However, this spring, I'll be wearing the same old black pants, blue shirt that I wear everyday to work, and old grey trackies when I get home. I'm so non-adventurous….
