My place in the world.

L-R :: Kate, Zoe, Me & Dan – Walking to the train.
Saturday was jam packed with Blogger events. It is days, outings like this that remind me that THIS is my place in the world. It might sound gushy or silly to some but there is something about walking into a room full of bloggers. It is a unique feeling.
There just isn’t many places you can go. Meet a diverse group of people sharing a common thread. And I know that I have never had louder or funnier conversations than I do when you put a group pf bloggers together to chat. We covered toilets, travel, toilet paper usage, jobs, a teensy tiny bit of blogging, dinner conversation… And THAT was just the coffee afterwards.
Dinner on Saturday was amazing. I think Dan from Hello Blogger Events made an excellent choice with this venue. SO much fun and very cool. The drinks and food were amazing. We ate, very, very well indeed. The booth experience was pretty freakin’ fantastic. On first encounter it did occur as kinda slinky and shady. Like it would be easy to get up to no good there. If you know what I mean. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Which of course was true!
Encouraged of course by the soft lighting and hushed whispers. The atmosphere of course was completely broken by our two rowdy tables of bloggers. Sorry those on a romantical night. Better luck next time. We certainly got some sideways glances from the young hot things, as we less than elegantly draped ourselves over the floor in the bar while we waited for our table.
I think y favourite part is that more and more new and old bloggers keep coming out of the woodwork. This meet had another five bloggers I hadn’t met. As well as the usual groupies and I. I am so excited by the force and quality of bloggers in Queensland. Awesome work guys. It might just be me, but I think some of these Queensland ladies could be the funniest I’ve met {I’m looking at you Danielle & Olivia!!}. And I’ve met some pretty darn funny bloggers.
Watch out blog world, Queensland’s got some serious talent heading your way.
That is about it. Great dinner, great company. What else could a girl ask for on a Saturday night in Spring. Life’s good, I tell you. I’ve found my place in the world. So enjoy some of the photos. The rest are here.
