Sorry, I’m too vain for Vlogs.

Ever since I received this little beauty in the mail from Nuffnang {I won a comp, this is not a sponsored post} I have been meaning to post a Vlog. You know, something witty and charming that will make you all fall madly in love with me and this blog and have advertisers and PR people falling over me. The only problem is. I’m too vain. Well that and my plan is poorly thought through and full of holes.
My hair and skin have to be having a good day. Then there is the lighting and outfit to worry about. Do a I write a speech type thing or do I wing it. And if I wing it, can I stop myself from sounding too country for long enough to fool everyone into thinking I am a cultured thing. Probably not. Sigh. The concerns I have. Please tell me everyone has them. Hang ups I suppose they are called.
Now I am stalling. I have the webcam set up on my laptop but perched on my PC. It kinda stares at me. Taunting me. And it appears I am not the only one being called by the Vlog. Ms Sheri Bomb is asking her readers for questions that she will answer on a Vlog. Click the link and email her your suggestions. She will not be answering panties or cup size questions, in case you were wondering. Haha.
So what say you, do you promise not to laugh {too hard} if I post a Vlog? Would you bother to watch it or are Utube downloads too freakin’ hard/slow/annoying to bother. You never know, Ellie the dog might wander through this shoot too! Break the ice a little.

  1. Go for it, you'll will be awesome!

  2. You have that sexy voice – no way do you sound country! What about getting someone else to be in it for your first one? Could you and maybe Dani do a double act? More fun to share with a friend.

  3. I love a vlog. Seeing accents and expressions is great. Not me though. I have enough trouble knowing what to say in real life.Do it now!

  4. I would love to watch and would certainly not laugh…unless you said something hilariously funny, of course.Show us your beautiful face!!!

  5. I too am too vain for vlogs! But give it a go if you want- I will watch it and admire you for your bravery! :)

  6. i was considering doing a vlog…but i'm just not sure…when i post pictures i can choose which ones, but the camera might catch something unflattering.

  7. I love vlogs! Makes me feel like I know the blogger a little bit more. Especially in the case of bloggers I haven't met. Which doesn't apply to me because I briefly met you, but surely you haven't met ALL your readers?

  8. Well firstly, thank you thank you thank you for the shout out :DSecondly, damn you damn you damn you for making me think about all these things that I had previously not thought about that when vlogging.Luckily I have no shame :P So if my hair and skin is bad, the lighting is poor and I'm in my pyjamas…well you'll just have to take me or leave me baby!I got an email yesterday from someone telling me a rather personal post I wrote made me seem more 'real' and less 'bigger than big – strong, confident and even a little intimidating'Firstly I said, sorry think you got the wrong email address buddy :P But honestly, the whole point of my blog is to open myself up, put myself out there and sometimes force myself out of my comfort zone…so I decided to vlog :PJust don't think about it – just go for it!I promise I won't laugh (to your face) :P hahaha luv yoooou

  9. As Nike would say….Just Do It!It's fun. An informal way to say hi to your readers. Enjoy!
