This is a very serious blog. A blog where serious life questions get answered. Like should I get a job already? And who IS the fairer sex? Like the time that I answered the whole WordPress vs Blogger debate {well in my mind it was answered}. And don’t forget Where do women with big feet buy shoes!?. That was important.
Today, I was posing, like a total poser, in my backyard. Stealing the whole fence bit from Dan. Out in the sun because my hair is just a million times better in the sun. A flaming copper, unlike indoors where it is a brownish redish colour. So there I was, showing off how funky I am these days. Well, this day anyway.
And I thought; What if this IS my life? Closely followed by who the heck let the dog off the chain!? {I had, by the way, for those playing at home}
No seriously, this is my fiftieth attempt at getting something even remotely close to a good photo and you wander on in to it!! Ellie {the Dog} why do you insist on pushing me over the edge!? Thank goodness you’re cute. Anyway. What was I saying. Oh yes.
And if this is my life then shouldn’t I just get on with my to do list now, rather than waiting to be thinner {it appears I’ve put some weight back on, if this dress and the way it fits are anything to go by!}, or smarter, or richer or even located somewhere cooler. Not weather wise cooler, trendier cooler.
This blog is where it is at. My life and expression is here. I am loving doing blog makeovers and websites. I have a plan to run some casual coffee date style social media seminars. I am currently working on THREE eBooks {yes, I know, finish one already}. My life is full. But I need money to pay my mortgage.
I want a social media or blogging job {don’t we all!}. I think I would be great at it. So it is time. Time to dust off the resume and cover letter writing skills. Time to throw my hat in the ring. Unless of course someone is willing to just employ me on the spot. Based on the fact I am super dooper cool… Anybody? Oh well.
This is my life and it’s not going to live itself.
