My Sassying It Up Lunch!

Sassying It Up

Now this Sass lady, she can show you how to lunch in style. From my VERY basic understanding it is about listening to what the body wants and eating that. All I snacked on all day was olives. Weird, huh. What are they high in..? And protein, it’s like I am rebuilding my entire body here. Which let’s face it, is probable after the past three months.
I enjoyed my lunch so much and was so satisfied even though I had a sweet craving moments later, popped out and bought some chocolate, by the time I got home, I didn’t want it. So in the fridge it went. Could we be on to something here?
And perhaps Sass could tell me {us!?}, how the heck do you manage portion sizes when eating intuitively? And maybe you could tell me {us} a book or two that we can read. Ok? Demanding, huh. Thanks!

  1. Hey, that's me *_*It looks awesome. Funnily enough, olives are about the only food I won't touch. They are untrustworthy to me! I would have wanted to add a square of dark chocolate or some crackers/apple and peanut butter for crunch and sweetness. Through trial and error you will gravitate to the amount and variety you need for satisfaction. You are doing awesome:)I did a post on portion size that might be helpful but it's such an individual thing. Some might journal but I just use my elephant like memory to remember what amount of food I need to satisfy me. Always knowing that more food is allowed if required is important as well. It takes practice.

  2. this post really resonated (mmm spelling lol) with me. I have only 2 pieces of bread or 3 wraps as my daily carb intake. But your plate looks very yummy except for the fact that I hate olives lol. I'm so inlove with brocolli I have it almost every night. I love the idea of listening to your body, it's so important. I try to make sure the only sugar I have in my diet is from natural sources such as fruit, but I dont' stress if comes from a choc bar, hey we are only human. But my biggest promise to myself is to workout atleast 6 days a week. That's why I don't feel guilty when I eat something "naughty"
