Decorating with Colour!

My home was painted with grey walls, white trims and white ceilings. It was designed that way to be a blank canvas for whatever took our fancy. I think it is about time I started introducing a crazy amount of colour and liven things up around here. Especially considering the Ikea binge that is on the cards for the end of the month. So go on, enjoy the tour of fabulous’ness I have collected. Get your bright whites and bold colours out…

    Oh, a rainbow library!! How cool is that!?I don't decorate, I just try to cover up the renovations. Boring :(

    That book shelf is to die for! I really love the first room with the old not matching chairs! That is my dream dining room!

    The last photo is me.Steve's palette is pretty drab. Our whole house is brown, beige and blue. My office is my favourite room because it's my place to decorate the way I fancy. My place to experiment. Now I feel like I really know my style.I'd suggest doing that :)

    I am in love with that rainbow library. Also the polka dot chair. I haven't decorated this house yet, but I prefer my walls and staples (large furniture items) to be neutral so that I can switch it up. Although I found this powder blue couch that I am in love with.

    If I had my way the house would look like Barbie vomitted everywhere so we decided on a semi neutral blue and green. I want that library, but how anal do you have to be to keep it that way?

    I love the first three photos best. Something about that polka dot chair and the lamp does it for me, not sure why. It's gorgeous.We rent, sadly, so decorating (and 2 messy boys) will have to wait a while.

    do i decorate with colour….?hmmmm let me see…a bedroom that is painted a gorgeous deep red, a study that is painted a beautiful brilliant blue [think the shade of blue that Carrie painted her apartment in the first SATC movie ;-) ] and a kitchen that is a fabulous deep aubergine and yellow.yes i would say that i decorate with colour….!~x~

    Oh my gosh! I came here for a diet blog and I got a design blog too. What a happy coincidence. Sounds like we have the exact same colour scheme in our homes too!!I love these pics — the last two are my absolute favourites. Gorgeous! :)
