Gettin’ Crafty… Inspired by Rhi

A little while ago, the beautiful Rhi shared a how to guide on We Heart Life. It peaked my interest. Big Time It looked cool and Hubby and I had a new niece to make a gift for. Because that’s our thing. I make something cool and Hubby supervises and takes care of the posting of the item. Appropriate wrapping of postal items takes time, you know.

First I hunted down a white, unique frame. The backing board was included. And one weekend I popped to Mum’s because she has the most amazing array of hole punches I have ever seen. This one was cute so I set to work punching out some flutterby’s in complimentary coloured/patterned paper. Then it was a matter of lining them up, selecting a font card of stickers {Mum, awesome selection, again} and mounting them all.

Hey presto. A unique gift for an adorable bubba. But also something that might be able to grow with her from a toddler to a young girl to a women. You know. Maybe. But that could just be me being sentimental. But back on track, here it is…

And here is the link to Rhi’s post.

  9. The frame was from Big W. I haven't seen them there lately. If I did, I'd buy more for future use. ;)
