As some of you are aware I started writing blog content posts for Blog This a little while ago. I really felt I owed something back to the community as it was one of the first places I found for Australian bloggers. My contribution, I hope, will help new bloggers start their blogs or old bloggers relight their bloggy fires. I guess what I am asking is where YOU get your inspiration for posts? Because I plan to totally steal your ideas and pass them off as my own. Derr. {I’ll probably link back to you}. 
I am also compiling guests posts about blogging in general. If you would like to see your post about blogging or bloggers featured please email me at melissa{at}blogthis.com.au and we can chat. The type of thing I had in mind were posts like this one about blog etiquette or this one about online persona’s. Have you written something like this? 
Tell me, did you find your way to Blog This when you started blogging? Which Blog Communities do you participate in? Consider it research for this curious nosy type girl.

    I randomly found blog this about a month ago, and have signed up, displayed the badge, read the blog and commented when I've had time… but my blog isn't on the member's list, and I haven't heard anything back from any onebut I have enjoyed the posts you've been sharing, and look forward to more. I'll have to think about a post idea…

    I can't remember how I found blogthis (I think through someone I followed doing a challenge?) but I've been a member for over a year now.I used to be addicted, playing along with every challenge and checking out every article, I head there less and less now. I still check out most of the new articles when they pop up on my feed, but I wouldn't say I use it as much as I used to :)

    I haven't found 'Blog This' yet…so will have a lookie after this!!I have a few blog hops I play – I probably find most of my like-minded blogs from those.As for inspiration – I have a bit of a system (since I post everyday I need it to keep on track) where each day has a loose theme-thingy that I sort-of try to stick to, kinda (sounds really organised doesn't it??). But it does help me to narrow the focus of the bazzilion-and-one random things I could blather on about (I have that potential, you think??)Any way – enough blah blah blah from me – time to check out those links :-)xxxCate

    I very rarely visit Blog This, I used to do the challenges every week but now I just have lost interest. For inspiration, it could be a moment, a thought, social media, photograph, etc. I could read something on someone's blog and think, yes I need to write about that [with linking back to them]. As for post, I did write a heap on 'everyone wants this' but they're gone. As is that blog. Sorry. And I don't really write like that on 'Extremely Hyper'.

    the main community i used to participate in was stirrup queens eg the ali community Adoption, Loss and Infertility.however now i'm stepping away from that journey, i'm not sure what community i most identify with. that's part of the problem! i've had a look at blog this but haven't participated … yet~x~
