Here it is! {@NuffnangAU Qld Blogger Meet Up}

Firstly. Thank you to Nuffnang Australia who sponsored the food and drinks and a lucky door prize for us. It meant that everyone could just sit back, relax and enjoy themselves. It was all sorted. I think that what you offer Bloggers as a community is exciting and always worthy of a mention. So again. Thank you.
Secondly. To those that came along. I love your guts. I had so much fun attempting to keep up with all your conversations at once. I loved how each of you just threw yourself into the event with cheerfulness and
Thirdly. Thank you Danielle for organising for the charming Zoe to come and take some awesome piccies so we all could down tools and just have fun. Lucky you did because it turns out I have about 15 photos. Total. Thank you for being so generous and just giving us your time and these photos.
Now the juicy bits. Some stuff I know now about Blogger Meet Ups and Bloggers in general. The people you think are lovely on the web, when it comes to theeesssee people anyway, are just as lovely in person. Sometimes for me it felt strange to be meeting people physically for the first time and to know so much about them and their lives. Food is an excellent ice breaker and always gets people chatting. And on that note, put a whole bunch of bloggers together and you don’t have to worry about people chatting.

Did I have a favourite? Oh course not. I love all my Bloggers equally {See, I told you I’d be a great Mum!}. There was a great variety of hobby, semi and pro bloggers and we all got to speak about our blog and what makes it tick. That was kinda strange, the going around the table’ness of it, but I’m glad we did it. I got a lot from that, even if the main point is that we, as bloggers, in general undervalue ourselves.

So now. Some piccies. Thanks to Zoe {her link is on my sidebar}. For a full, non-collage wrap up of her photos pop over to the facebook page. Zoe has kindly donated her time and images to this cause so if you use any of them, please link back to her site. There are some lovely profile type shots. It you want yours, full size, email me.

The name tags were cut out paper dolls. With a little more cut out for the boys. What worked was that people coloured them in and seemed to have fun doing it. Plus Tornado played with them all afternoon. What didn’t was that I had also bought scrap paper, scissors and glue for more detailed stuff. There just wasn’t any room on the table for all that. So we ditched it and went with the good old pen and crayon approach. So. That’s the story behind that.
Was there anything else I forgot?
