I love my decal!

My fridge blackboard sticker featuring the menu from my cooking bust out!
A while ago we wrote notes on the fridge with white board marker for notes and reminders and the shopping list. Great plan. Until it wasn’t. Soon it left marks and smudges on the surface. Whoops. So we stopped. But missed it terribly. Little notes like; K, be home after 7. dinner? M Or Buy me chocolate today or I may die Mxox
We might have had to TALK to each other without it. Gasp.
One day, junk shop shopping with my sis for the 4th weekend in a row I eyed off this blackboard beauty. I had planned to put it on my office door. As a working/not working system. Like do not disturb but cooler. And then I got over it.
So after a week or so on the kitchen table. And after a clean up of the fridge door. It had found a new home. An impressive, super, dooper, perfect for us home. I have a few heavy duty magnet clips and my transform your life magnet on the fridge as well. They all work perfectly together to hold all the urgent stuff. And it’s always neat and tidy and the board scribbled on.
What system do you use for reminders? Or family notes?

  1. Oh that decal is brilliant~!I want something like this in my house when we get one. I want to be able to write down notes and shopping lists and reminders. My mirrored cupboards are covered in post it notes because of this. Ahaha, and we have a shopping list notepad on our fridge. I like it.

  2. Not enough detail Melissa – you need to give us the low down on where you found this beauty!I am the family PA and keeper of messages – the problem arises when I'm not home and a phone message goes through to the keeper.Hence the need for you to divulge your source sweet pea!xx Felicity

  3. Haha Felicity. It was in a Madhouse store. I also saw them in a King Kong. I just adore it. And it was $4.95. Bargain!!

  4. I have a laminated list I printed out from word for my meal plan. I have an old whiteboard with the shopping list… which I have plans to decorate once I finish the other 347 projects I've started. There's a calendar on the fridge that outlines who will be where and when. I'm a bit anal retentive about lists lol

  5. If I send you $10 will you get me one and post it to me?Seriously. I want one – more than chocolate (for the moment…)

  6. Hi there I'm still stalking my way around your blog! I love this. I want to put chalkboard paint on my pantry door to write out my meal plan. I use a magnetic pad for the shopping list, bright pieces of paper for my meal plan with recipes stuck behind. Looks a bit messy but it works for now :)
