Righto. Here’s the four one one {is that how you write that? who knows}. I had a sponsor for the AusBlogCon. But they pulled out. I had a bit of a cry and a sigh. And then they came back to me again. We were finalising details. And now they are out again. It’s us, they said, not you. And I believe them. Times are tough for small business. And I look forward to working with them in the future. They rule. Yes, they do.
And I’m looking for an amount to go close to covering flights {cheap ones}, accommodation and the actual ticket. I was willing to break it into small packages for a few sponsors. Is this the best way to go about it. I really liked the idea of a neat tidy all in one sponsor.
Don’t you think I would be a fabulous brand ambassador? Seriously. I managed to convince my hubby it was a good idea to get dressed up for the snow on a humid Queensland summers day. I talk all day every day. I genuinely love people. I think online businesses are the best thing since sliced bread. And I look great in a branded shirt. Seriously, you should see me rock a polo! Really. You should see that. It’s the boobs, probably.
So. Help me out. Where do I start, again. More emails, a improved letter. I feel like I have tried everything my workload will allow me to do. But obviously that isn’t true. I need to make more personalised contact, I am sure. I need to follow up. I need to know what sort of business would benefit from having me on board.
Any ideas?
Or maybe you’ll just make this easy on me and email me offering to send me. Seriously. You’d be surprised how economy I can do this whole coming from Queensland thing. Make me an offer.
And if I have to beg, I will. Tickets are almost sold out.
