A wonderful weekend spent catching up with some old friends. They aren’t old but we go back, waaaay back some of us. On Friday night I naught up with Liz who was my bestie in high school with and remains one of the easiest people to be around. i love a good chat with Liz. It is always so easy. Fun. Light. She was my reunion date, remember!?
And on Saturday there was Tray, who I went through pre-school to the end of primary with and then later, Uni. And Jo. She and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary having met one hot summer night at a penthouse on the Sunshine Coast where we bonded over throwing UHT milk into the docked boats. Also in attendance were Re {our hostess with the mostest} and Bec. Who I met and Uni and think are awesome, of course.
We had lunch, chatted and I ended up playing Mario Kart with Re’s eldest son. And it was wonderful. So easy to just slide back into conversation. Don’t you love that about old friends. We were at lunch for 5 hours and it felt like it was much shorter than that. And at the end Jo and I hopped in my car and heading back to my house for a sleepover catch up. There may have been wine. And champaign. And more food.

And in the morning, sore heads.
I just loved the guts out of this weekend. And bless him, Hubby was awesome. We got to catch up a few times over the weekend. And he loves a good Jo catch up as much as I do. So yes. This year, I decided has been the year of the reunion. Has this year had a theme for you?
