You know I was exactly the same when I first started blogging. Over time as I relaxed and started to share more I came to realize that the blogging community is such a special supportive group and also just how much I value their thoughts and input.

I'm exactly the same. I even had my blog set to private. Then, I slowly became part of the blogging community and I LOVE it. And, I got to meet special people like yourself xx

Nothing better than being your true self – it usually produces the best writing!I blog about quite personal stuff but I also tend not to put my image on my blog [I have never put Guv's image on my blog – he'd hate that!].I sometimes wish my blog wasn't so personal but then if it wasn't, it wouldn't be my blog!~x~

:) i think everybody needs to find the level of openess they feel comfortable with on a public blog. i have been VERY open on a locked, closed platform blog for years. like you, i wanted to keep my (still new) public blog a bit more covered and i still have a few principles. but you can't expect personal following if you do not blog a bit personal too. otherwise it's like reading an editorial in a newspaper, you might like the article but don't general remember the name.. i've only just discovered your blog but i already like it. keep it up !
