We did it!

Welcome to the Ginger Factory. Don’t mind the rain!
Take that 20 things to do in 2010. Today, in the puring rain, we said stuff you weather and went to the Ginger Factory, Yandina. After a spot of shopping, that is. We arrived with the intention of DEFINITELY seeing Santa in his secret Ginger Factory workshop. There was also the train, shops, overboard {like it’s a small world at Disneyland}. We were looking for kid and pram friendly activities as well as indoors, thanks to to incessant rain.
We ended up having lunch, riding the train and taking the overboard boat trip. All heaps of fun and it worked out about $25 each for Hubby and I. Not too bad at all. that was until we hit the ice cream stand and the ginger shop. But that is more a Fat to Fit matter. Ha!
The Ginger Factory also has cooking classes, a bee keeping show and ginger factory tour. All of which we just couldn’t muster the energy to do after a big evening of Monopoly playing {yours truly kicked some serious backside. hells yes}. Trina and I are planing to take to curries cooking class in January.  It’s a Saturday morning and only about 40 minutes from home. Nice one.
Overall rating {even in the pouring rain}: Loved it. Four stars out of five. Easily. There is so much to do and because it is pay per use you can spend as much or as little as you please. Great. I’m glad we FINALLY made the time to go {Thanks for the shove Trina}. And now for some more photos from the day. Enjoy!

Kelvin & Ethan enjoy the train ride.
