Welcome to a new,
Danimezza inspired, segment called… She wore WHAT!? I love clothes but I’ve really needed an excuse to shop lately. My mojo was gone. I’d lost that loving feeling when it came to dressing up and making an effort. I am sick and tired of being boring, boring with my clothes it is time to funk this up.
Talk about an exercise in confidence. This get dressed and share it online and have to set up a tripod and run back and forwards. Don’t even ask how many I deleted. I sucked it up and took as many photos as I could handle and whittled them down. Next time, I’ll get hubby to take them and show you my blue steel!
So today I was off to our staff Christmas party. We were getting on a bus and heading to a secret destination. the only thing we were told was to wear proper shoes and boys should wear a collar. A bit open ended, we could have ended up anywhere. Last year we went to the Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast. The year before cocktails and cruising the Noosa River before heading back to the boss’s river side penthouse for drinkies. Seriously. It is an open ended prospect. I wanted casual and comfortable but dressy enough for a venue or heading out. And this is what I came up with…
Top w/ flappy cardi bit – Moda by Target – On sale! $20.00
Squishy beaded necklace – Gift from friend – FREE
Black jodhpurs style leggings – Autograph – About $39.00
Black satin peep toe heels – Big W {seriously!} – $19.95
New haircut and colour – By Becca – $40
PS. We totally ended up at the Tripod show. Love those guys, they crack me up. The oldies didn’t really appreciate the swearing and general carry on {vulgarity, hello!}. But I loved it. Best party ever. And the best part? I had three drinks and a great time. Didn’t I tell you OcSOBER changed me.
