| Going sleeveless? – Hell no, not today! |
Reporting from the offices of my employment on my first rostered Saturday morning shift in 12 months. And I am kind of glad to be indoors today. It is bloody freezing out there. Brrrr. So much for Springtime in sunny Queensland. It is sweater and scarf weather.
So what else am I up to today? Well, I have replied to all my emails, answered my calls and sorted through the massive, tilting slightly to the right, in tray. And all this was before 9am. I am here until 12. Now what? I blog and tell you about stuff. Random stuff. What is happening over here stuff. Of course!
I had hoped to be in Brissy today. To go and visit some friends that it has been too long since I saw. But the thing I was going for was cancelled and I couldn’t justify the trip. It has been raining here. A LOT. And hubby’s business doesn’t go so well in the rain. Sigh. So from rolling in it a month or so ago to now, it is looking a little sad. The old bank account.
I am wishing I had gone to HJ’s for a coffee and breakie wrap before I came. I decided not too and came straight to work. I ate my mid week protein snacks and my left over lunch from yesterday is awaiting me later on. Joy. I wish the lunch truck came at morning tea time on Saturday… Mmmmm. Lunch truck.
Anyways. Randomnes coming to an end. I am heading out to tie down our security gate that keeps banging against the wall. The stupid thing is driving me nuts. I wish I had a way of recording the ting, ting type banging it is doing. You’d be right there with me. Guaranteed!
