Talking about relations… Of the blogging kind.

A few people in real life know that I blog, most don't get "it". They don't understand why I'd want to put it all on the web for anyone to read and in truth sometimes I don't know why I do either but the sad part is that there are more people "out there" in the big wide world of the web who get me, so much more than anyone in my "real life" does.I don't know anyone in real life that blogs, which is probably why I don't share with many people that I do – because I'm kinda tired of getting "those" looks – you know the weird ones that make me think I've just admitted to being a serial killer rather than just a plain ole boring blogger!

No one, apart from Sarah at Just Me. (She is like you – loves all the Christmas shenanigans…..)Three Months & Counting Just MeI have met her a lovely handful of times in real life. That is it. (Hence I am keen to get to the conference!)

I'm like Miss Ruby. I don't tell people I blog. You guys seem to get me more than IRL people but then maybe that because I don't share as much in real life.

IRL, not many people know about my blog. My kids, one other adult, that's it. I did tell a couple of work friends, by email, but one of them rarely reads her email and I don't know if the other checked out the blog or not. I haven't had a reply to the email I sent her. I don't know anyone else IRL who blogs.

Interesting post….I kind of agree with Miss Ruby, I feel like I get funny looks from some people IRL when they find out I am a "blogger"However, me and my very good IRL friend share our blog and therefore we share our blog life and real life stuff…It makes it extra fun for us…we share ideas, we chat about our future posts ideas and we go out for lunch to celebrate when we hit follower milestones! We don't have loads of followers so it is not like this has happened a lot yet but when we hit our 50th follower we treated ourselves to a bit of a boozy lunch! Great fun

everyone who knows me, knows that I blog. Because my family live overseas I point them to my blog to get any updates. My dad is probably my most loyal reader. I know a couple of bloggers in real life, but I met them online anyway!here's one, my friend Dorothy. http://singularinsanity.blogspot.com/as for my husband. He's learning to say "wow that's great honey" whenever I mention pageviews or followers or anything bloggy

Here's the funny thing – No one I know in real life blogs like I do. They all have their little private family blogs and such, but no one else tries to get follers, etc. I feel badly about this, but then again, I have met tons of new people – like you – that are great blog buddies.
