Building a city for 40,000

Muster Venues… Some of the cool ones. Photos by Hubby.

The RM Williams stockist truck, yep, they just put the shop in the back and show up.

The XXXX bar – This thing comes in on a semi and opens up to THIS.
Very cool to watch.

Plus it comes with FREE dancers.
You have no freakin idea how many pics I have of the XXXX Angels… Like, plenty. More than enough.
Not a venue but cool none the less.
The Muster Club Bar and to think, none of this was here a few months ago…
Another cool venue that they knock up with a tent, some hammers and nails
You know, I’m sure it’s as easy as that.
Bundy Central – the hallowed land.
Come inside friends, stay a while.
Main Stage – Daytime so the party goers are in bed… you should see this baby full!

It really is hard to believe that all this is located in a state forest and goes up and comes down every year. A whole city to house over 40,000 people for a single week, every year. It’s all pretty impressive. Very impressive. And on Monday, they just pack it all up and take it home. Leaving the forest to recover from the shock, I’m sure.

  1. That's so awesome the travelling pub!

  2. Good to see the XXXX truck still doing the rounds. I first read about it years ago; many years ago, in a magazine called The Australia Post. Those are great photos.

  3. Free dancers?! Our music festival charges $3 a piece!
