Settling In

This Muster proudly bought to you by Bundy BARE. Oh how I love thee.
I arrived well after dark so the generator with light is in full swing. Hubby, Auntie Dell, Uncle Bob and Brendan, along with random Apex guy who they think his name is Bruce or Billie or something are eating sausages and onion gravy with fresh wholemeal bread. Nice. Well done guys. Day one, massive tick.

A few drinks were being had and the work, well it was pretty slow going as the rain continued to drizzle on. Most people arriving were stopped mostly for a chat. An informative but kinda irrelevant none the less chat. Camp Back Gate had taken this hardy workers all day to fit out to perfection. Include drainage channels for persistent tarp overflows. I settled in. Applied another layer or two of sweater and poured a drink. Sigh. Holidays. At last.
Hiya Hubby
After a bit of conversation and a warming by the fire we unpacked my car and settled into important matters. Connecting the wireless internet. They had already set up a table which I promptly commandeered as Blog Central. Grabbing some photos. And of course, updating facebook to let all know I am alive, well, freezing and most importantly, online…
Argh. not my finest photo moment. Note the blogger setup.
So goodnight, fellow bloggers and general blog wanderers. I look forward to showing you around this big, bad campsite tomorrow. Apprantely people are pouring in already and the small events don’t even start until next Tuesday. Woo wee. It’s going to be a biggen this year, me thinks. But until tomorrow here is a night shot of our setup. And didn’t I tell you, we don’t camp so much as convoy.
Main entrance tent, kitchen and van…
Tents etc further to the right and much too dark to photograph right now.
