Oh for a lazy Sunday…

I am here, tap, tapping away, working on finishing off some spreadsheets, websites and rosters. My back and eyes hurt from sitting in the same position for so long that I’ve taken to laying on my stomach, laptop in front of me. I imagine it will only last for a little while.
And in my searching for stock images online I spot this photo. An I let out an audible sigh. Ohhhh. I wish that was me. Right down to the hair, the red shirt dress and the basking in the sun’ness. 
Loving Sundays. Loving that even though I might have heaps of work to do and millions of things to cram in, it is on my time frame. Loving that I have a giant pile of weekly dvd’s that can play in the back ground. 
I am missing Hubby though. He’s pottering in the yard. Playing with his newly acquired trailer. Keeping out of the way of his crazy eyed, deadline driven wife.

    I too, am wishing that were me in the shot {surprise!}. I've spent the day recovering and think I might go for a beach walk soon – then start cooking the butterflied leg of saltbush lamb we bought from the markets this morning {I know, sounds like I've made up an idyllic day doesn't it!}

    Working on a Sunday is tough! But you seem to be taking it in your stride.This Sunday we watched the Tsunamis and their besties jumping up and down up and down up and down on the trampoline. Very soothing.
