My stock’s dropped…

I finally got an opportunity to look. My stock had been up. I was the in thing. I was… well, a fleeting moment of fancy. And I looked and gasped. I refreshed the page. I looked again. And I realised. It had happened. The worst of the worst. The saddest of the sad. I was bankrupt. Busted. Broke. My run was over. 
Suger Coat It only had 10 visitors on Sunday. We average a lot more. Well. I guess I just bored you to tears with my missing in action weekend. Heehee. Sorry about that. Or did you just have a big weekend too. Quickly, quickly, praise and validate me. Oh gosh tell me you didn’t mean it. *desperate clawing/tongue firmly planted in cheek*
And to think, I was just starting to settle in to not trying very hard. The competitor in me is screaming out to play harder, to get back in the game, to get back out there in blog world even if it means a 3am bedtime and comment, comment, comment. To get back on top (my top anyways, lord knows I’m no Diminishing Lucy or Fat Mum Slim… you know, supa stars). 
Turns out, once a try hard, always a try hard. Sigh. :o) What would you do?

    I would do what makes you happy. Really happy. That is all.(And I am not sure whether to be touched and honoured or horrified and scared that you think of me as a "supa star".'Cos I am not.)

    Lucy is a superstar for sure.You have never bored me to tears. Quite the contrary actually. Of course, when you don't post, that is quite sad.

    Big weekend here. It was quiet without you though. ;-)I'm with you though – the idea of getting the kind of numbers I imagine Lucy and FMS get is mind boggling. Don't stress about the numbers. Yours is a much loved blog by a lot of bloggers I know. :-)

    *sigh* everyone wants to be on top. Number one. do you all realise that number one means nothing without the 2's, 3's, 4's?I have only 3-4-5 readers/commenters. Doesn't bother me at all.
