Pre loved–inherited or thrift-ed
I got this couch for free. I was showing a property for sale and the owner had it sitting outside with yucky forest green material cushions and her cats hung out on it. But I saw the glamour below. I asked her what she planned to do with it when she moved. She said she was leaving it here or taking it to the dump. I asked if I could have it. She shrugged and said, you pick it up, you can have it.
So I did. With the assistance of My Brother. Which, can I say was a mission itself. Squeezing this very, very long couch into the back of my CRV meant Dean Boy had to lay beside the couch and hold the tailgate shut. In the dumping rain. But we got it home. I immediately threw away the cushions and exit mould’ed the whole thing.
The following Christmas hubby had the cushion you see now made to order. And the couch came with us to our new home and served as outdoor furniture. Lately we have upgraded the old girl to primary inside couch. And I think she is settling in nicely. Don’t you?
