It’s been ordered… Waiting, Waiting, Waiting…

My new camera! Exciting Huh. My Hubby noting the bit of a downer I have been on gave me the green light to finally hit Buy It Now (eBay, you know) last night and now it’s mine. It is my first Digital SLR camera. I inherited (by some random thing) my Dad’s Nikon SLR a few years ago. It takes stunning photos. And what I read was that the D3000 is an exceptional entry point DSLR. So what have you heard? What have you got? I showed you mine. Now. It’s time to show me yours. And yes, an iPhone totally counts! 

PS. Can I say a big thank you for the support, kind words and overall loveliness via comments and email yesterday. Thank you for the contribution you are to me. And for the space to feel whatever I was feeling… publicly. Without fear of, well fear of anything. Short version. Thank You.

    I'm a crap photographer without time or opportunity (till next year) to learn to really use a camera. SO — we bought a Fuji FinePix S5600, which takes good photos IF I use it properly. We paid about $350 for it quite a few years ago and it's been completely trouble-free.But I'm looking to upgrade when I can take some classes, so I'll be interested to hear what you think of your new darling.
