So I was the lucky receiver (winner doesn’t seem like the right word right now) of this award a short while ago from the lovely Passion 4 Pink at her blog of the same name. Firstly. Thank you for the honor. And apologises for the delay in responding to your mention.
So it goes a little like this. I list some items that make me happy or similar. I think. And I pass it on to people whom’s blogs positively and creatively inspire others in the blog world. And since I cannot speak on behalf of all of blog world, I will pass it on to those that inspire me positively and creatively in my blog world.
First somethings that make me happy;
- Winning! Always makes me happy. Let’s face it. Who ever plays to lose. Noooooot me.
- My hubby and family. I think I have said it before but heck, these are one funny, funny group of people. Mad, but funny. And they are often the source of much of my happiness.
- Movies. The costumes, the stories, everything. Sigh. I can’t believe I wasn’t home on Oscar night. Bah Humbug. Do they release it on DVD..?
- Sunshine after long periods of rain. Rain after long periods of sunny, hot days.
- Laughing my ass off. At anything remotely funny. As often as possible.
And now, for those that I adore. For those that uplift (… this is me refraining from a wonder bra joke or similar). For those that inspire. The newest WINNERS of the Sunshine Award in no particular order;
- A City Girl in the Country – For reminding me that renovations are often, if not always, worth it. And that beauty is everywhere.
- {have a cute day} – For the beautiful things, the images, the outfits, the stories.
- The Musings of Carrie Blogshaw: Sex & the Shitty – For having me in stitches ninety percent of the time. I love this blog, especially when I am missing my girlfriends and a ruckus girls night of old.
- The Glass Half Full – Because everything about this blog screams love and support and positivity. I don’t comment anywhere near often enough. But I love it here.
- Lessons from the Monk I Married – I’m not sure if hers is the kind of blog that ‘does’ awards but this wonderful, wonderful blog had to be included. If any blog radiates creativity and positivity it is hers. And what a wonderful husband. Second only to mine of course!
And to all those that wondering where they are. Don’t be sad. This could have gone on all night such is the depth of great blogs I read, most day. Love to all. Enjoy!
