Are you out there?

It’s raining here again. And to be honest I think I get how those people in places with limited daylight get depressed. What is that thing called..? Seasonal Affective Disorder. Or something. All I know is that it’s acronym is SAD. Well I think it is happening to me.
I finally think the wet weather, the rain, (the mud for goodness sake!) has pushed me over the moody ledge.
And I don’t know if it is correlated but nobody seems to be around much today. I guess I got a little used to the barrage of comments that would great me each more. Addictive. Yes..? But are you out there?
And for those Queenslanders out there that are currently suffering from the rainy blues, hang in there. I’m right there with you. And you know what, sooner or later, this place gets hot and sunny again. That is a given.

  1. Try taking some Vitamin D-3, it is recommended for anyone that doesn't get enough sunlight. The sunlight hitting our skin causes the D-3 to be made, but if we don't get enough sun (the winter months here in the US are horrible) our skin can't make the D-3. My girlfriend started taking D-3 and her depression went away within a week.

  2. What do they say about Queensland beautiful one day, raining the next!Hope you feel better soon.

  3. It's finally sunny where I am! I hope you get some sun too, it definitely lifted my spirits.

  4. I gotta say I felt miserable when I woke up this morning, went to the loo and looked out the toilet window to see black skies AGAIN! I love the rain, but seriously, this is getting stupid. Perhaps we need to do a sun dance? So much for hitting the beach with Neek this weekend *sigh*

  5. :( Rain can be annoying. I am in Sydney and the rain has been mean to me recently. And yes – comment numbers have dropped for me too – probably as March seems to be a busy month – no holidays or anything :(

  6. Rain again..! Hi all. Vitamin D-3 huh, I may just do that. Oh Bel, let's dance! URGENTLY. Sunshine, mmmm, can almost picture it… almost.

  7. I hate rain! I can understand how you are feeling…it's just so depressing! but hang on…the sun will come out eventually; have a sunny weekend!xx

  8. I'm just about to hang another load of clothes undercover rather than letting them dry in the sunshine so I feel your seasonal gloom!

  9. How about another comment just to brighten your day a little bit more. :)

  11. I absolutely suffer from SAD – it hits particularly hard in late July and early August.
