I got UNfollowed…!

Who would leave aaall this..? Seriously. :o(
I noticed the other day that there was now a whopping 86 people following this blog. Seriously, I was surprised when there was 10. I watched those numbers count up for weeks and weeks. Anyway, upon noticing this I thought, wow weee, how awesome. How exciting. How lovely. How terrifying. 
And as I was away this weekend in beautiful Sydney with a beautiful group of beautiful people I didn’t check in for a couple of days. And that’s when it happened… I had 84 followers. 
Gasp!
I had been UNfollowed. How horrible. How traumatising. How wretched feeling. How terrifying! Maybe my run was over. Maybe people had finally realised actually, thanks but no thanks Melissa, it’s just not very interesting. I read over my last few posts. They were picture heavy. I had even included one of myself pulling a funny face. Maybe, they didn’t like my amateur photos. Maybe, they didn’t like me!
You know how it goes when you let your mind have free reign for a moment. The barrage of doubt and concerns and bull that comes pouring. Gosh, I hope you know or how awkward!

So I wallowed for a minute. And then I wiped off my sad face. Thought to myself, oh well, I am what I am, it is what it is. Like it or leave. Which obviously 2 had simply chosen the later option. Logged off. Went back to the seminar I was attending. And forgot about it.

I come back today. And WOW!. Holy, hold on to your hats… there are 90 of you wonderful, glorious people. Well, there is for now… Haha!

Tell me. Have you noticed that someone has stopped following your blog. Were you able to pinpoint who left..? I was considering tracking them down and stalking them, but seriously, if it’s my mum, I’ll be devastated! :oP

    I think we all go through this, and I swear, it's almost impossible to work out who it is! All I know is that I adore coming here to visit and would follow you twice if I could!

    Not had it happen…YET!Am only up to 60. Waiting to crack the ton, impatient thing I am. Though I had 110 hits yesterday, so that is good!

    Haha, I understand!! I got to 80 then bragged about it on Twitter…next time I looked was back to 79!! What??!!!Anyhow, I'm up to 96 now, only 4 more than I should have another party I reckon. LOL ;)

    Since I only have 22 followers it is pretty easy to see when someone leaves. I had some unfollow me recently..but they only followed me for less than a day – so maybe they accidently followed me in the first place

    Maybe they just pressed the WRONG button accidentally??? I like to "sugar coat it" too. :) Found you on blog catalog under 'living well' great stuff, it's so refreshing to find like minded people who also enjoy their hometown, job etc. Keep it up!

    i'm one of the new ones! and liking your style from what i've so far read :) boo to the unfollowers!i think i'm still at the point you once were, eagerly looking each time i log on to see if i have any new followers, it's been stuck at 13 for a while now.. i think i'll be excited when it gets to 15, let alone 20! so don't feel bad, 90 is great! (and you only really want to keep all us good ones anyhow i'm sure)

    i got unfollowed once (well, i've probably been unfollowed many times, i just noticed this once) and it was such a horrible feeling.i completely over-analysed the situation, edited my most recent topic in case it was offensive and then, with the benefit of time, got over it.90 followers is great. i mean, you probably want 1000, right? but really, most people would have less than 10. you're killing it :)

    As I only have 9 I'm pretty flipping familiar with them and would know, would stalk, would retaliate if anyone left. Hahahaha! Just jokes. I'd post even more hot stuff and accesorise myself stupid. xo

    man, i got un-followed yesterday. the biggest killer: it was from 50 to 49. just thought i'd come back and share that even though i got over it the first time, it really sucked all over again yesterday :(

    Have just found your blog and I love it! Have to laugh at the whole "un-following" thing. I have had that happen to me too. I did pout a fair bit, but I guess it is all part of this blogging world! Looking forward to reading more of your blog!
