I’m a bit excited… The new challenge at Blog This is up. And the challenge is to write your New Years Anti-Resolutions. Things you’d like to promise NEVER to do again, the thing’s you’d never resolve to give up or do and the resolutions you’ve made and broken. I’m going to stick to the items I resolve never to do again. Never, Ever, Ever Again.
So here goes… I resolve to NEVER, EVER, EVER DO AGAIN;
- attempt to home bleach my hair – this one is for you Becca!
- stop singing in the car just because someone is watching
- say nothing when something needs to be said
- watch a Jaws move; I love the ocean too much
- read an entire 800 page novel, overnight and without my reading glasses – Next time I will definitely wear my glasses
- wear pink while I have red hair
- use my trainers so little they only need to be replaced every decade (or are they sneakers… who knows anymore)
- ask My Hubby for a recount of a 2 hour 45 minute movie – seriously, it would’ve been shorter to watch it but I did enjoy the chat
- let our finances get in such a mess it takes a team of accountant type minds to fix it
- give in to a 3 year old – it’s not worth the trouble later on, no matter how frazzled I am now
- forget to tell the people I love that they are loved – Ahhh what the hell, tell everyone!
- plan to have a garden bed that needs weeding, watering or ongoing maintenance (that’s all of them right!?)
- let another year go by without taking charge of my health, my weight and my general craziness
- play Super Mario Brothers with a sore loser
Now it’s up to you to keep me in line, on track and motivated. This is a very serious list, filled with life altering commitments. Can you do that? Can you keep me on track? What… Ahhh, ok. I’ll do it myself. :oP
Oh and did you notice how super, awesome I am doing at posting everyday for the NaBloMoPo? 10 days down, 21 to go. Can someone tell me if it is cheating to write your posts the night before and have them scheduled to autoload the following morning? I can’t image it is, but would hate to be breaking the rules, this being my first attempt and all.
