There are some simple things in life you just can’t beat. Butter on fresh bread, the smell of rain and a simple black and white ensemble to take you from the office to dinner and out again. Comfortable to wear, it looks great and these shoes just add a little something. Apparently what they lack in support for your feet, they make up for in style. Short version is I won’t be walking far in these babies!
Anyway. As black and white continues to be a rather big deal heading into the coming seasons, you just can’t go wrong here. I can imagine it with any number of my blazers and even with the one coat I own. A rather large, too heavy for this part of the world, lined something something that I never wear more than once a year. THIS would go with that.
For you playing at home, this works because the lines are simple, the fabrics are easy to wear and the heel is a manageable height. If you wanted to replicate this with items for your existing wardrobe start with the simple black pants, add a statement top and some shoes. If you’re heading out on the town shake out that hair, add some hot lippie and call it a day. Yes?

Thanks Sarah! It’s fit into the wardrobe well. x
I totally agree Kathy!
I have that top & I love it! I would never have worn such a light colour years ago, but I’m loving how sleek and easy a good monochrome outfit is! Love this look!
It’s beautiful! I’m really glad I grabbed it with my last order. Monochrome really is the best and easiest thing EVER.
Your hair is looking FABULOUS!!! As are you x
Thank you Rach! x
