My whole life is all crooked at the moment. Steal Her Style was on the blog Wednesday instead of Tuesday, I went to work Tuesday but not Monday so I have no real idea which way is up. I looked at my blog last night and was like I don’t have a recipe what the heck am I going to post. Thank goodness a few weeks ago I had the foresight to get these photos in advance. I love this outfit and I’m glad to be able to share it.

Wrinkles and all.

This outfit came out to play when I was heading out to dinner with a girlfriend who was in town visiting for one of the first time in a couple of years since she left me here! She’d stayed at our house the night before and we chatted about life, camp toilets and fashion blogging. I’ve missed her face. For dinner, I wanted something comfortable to wear but that would still look good and make it through whatever the evening threw at us. It was perfect for that.

Later that night I posted a photo to Instagram on my way home that evening smiley and full of good cheer and I was still happy with how the whole outfit looked. A rare thing for a close of evening photo. Haha. Take my hot tip when heading out with the girls; be comfortable, be fun and be prepared to wear what you’re wearing for an indefinite amount of time to an indefinite amount of places.

Did I mention lately my love of all things chambray? Oh, I had? Right. Well, this skirt is from 17 Sundays and since the day it first arrived I’ve been tempted to pair it with the matching vest {seen in my Problogger post here} as a dress. FUN, right!? I’m yet to do that but there’s something so versatile about chambray, it is casual and says you want to hang out but it can be dressed up too. I know some people hate it, but I’m a big fan.
