Let’s face it. We all have one. Or two. Or, you know, more. The little black dress. Nothing it easier to wear. Simpler to throw together. More basic to co-ordinate. It’s black. Everything goes with it. When it comes to work I have three fall back black dress. No iron, no fuss. For going out, two of those dresses do a double roster and are joined by 2 more. Casual I have a beach dress I adore. And a maxi that rules. 

You might notice we put a little more effort into my outfit photos this time. Thanks to a Sunday drive, the camera in the car and a brewing storm. It was a moment all set to be captured. Phew, thank goodness I wasn’t in my trackies. BUT I was wearing a go to dress. A new one, I’d been hoping to get to show you. Lucky ducks, here we go.  

I picked this Autograph dress up on sale when they were having 50% off ALL dresses. I’d been eyeing it off since it was released and couldn’t believe my luck when there it was. And marked down too! It’s from the California Dreaming range. I haven’t seen it online yet, so you’ll have to go in store. But it’s worth it. It’s the perfect summer dress. Light and comfortable with an impeccable cut. I’ve worn it dressed up to the races and casually to this weekend’s Bloggers Meet Up.

My favourite part has to be the cute cut out detail on the sleeves and hem. I made Hubby take lots of photos attempting to show you the detail. Speaking of which. the details are dress, Autograph fashion. I’m wearing a 20. It fits me really well. Despite the bad underwear line in most of these photos. That’s an underwear thing, not the dresses fault. There’s a lesson in that, I think. The shoes were $9 from Payless Shoes {on SALE!} and I am wearing a charm bracelet from American Swiss that I bought in South Africa.
