Help me out, would you?

I have plans for a cocktail party post. Sick and tired of being shown how to fizz the water I told SodaStream that I would love to do a post using the SodaStream mixers to create yummy Summer cocktails. They said yup, great, coming right at you.
Win for me (SodaStream loves me, finally!) and win for you (Cocktail ideas for summer!!).
Given that I’m sugar free my drink of choice is vodka, lime (the fruit, never the syrup) and soda or rum and coke zero. In the grand scheme of cocktail type drink’s, these are not very interesting at all! Fun but not interesting. Classic, but not interesting.
So I’m asking for your help. Please tell me, using the mixers shown in the photo what would YOU make?? I’m thinking I might use some or all of them. And if I pick yours I’ll link back when the post goes live.
Soooo tell me, what would your summer cocktail be?

  1. GIN and lime and soda (with or without a teaspoon of sugar) on ice is DELISH! must be a good quality gin though. I love Bombay Sapphire. Also — LIME MOJITOS. MMMMM with fresh mint….. mmmmmmmmmm

  2. OOPS, sorry for the double comment — but Moscow Mules are really nice too.* muddle lime wedges with a thin slice of ginger (or two if you like)and a tspn of sugar or not* add in a shot of vodka and your ginger soda and ice cubes* shake it up* serve with lime wedges and shredded ginger

  3. Shame there is no cranberry flavour… I'd probably make a Pink Grapefruit Cosmopolitan…VodkaSodaStream Pink Grapefruit SyrupSoda Water? (thinking may need it, might be a bit syrup-y without. Experiment, maybe)1/2 line juicedLime rind to garnish…. Sounds good to me!!!

  4. Add vodka and some lemon to anything, whack it in a martini glass and it's a martini!

  5. I'm really wanting to make some type of watermelon and gin concoction. Not this minute, but sometime when the occasion deems it necessary. Boost has this awesome watermelon smoothie that is so refreshing. It can only be further enhanced by alcoholic spirits!

  6. Lime mint muddled add vodka and top with grapefruit fizz. Have tried is amazing

  7. any of those with vodka…martini with a splash of the lime perhaps…mojitios are always popular and can be almost any flavor these days, raspberry??

  8. I know nothing about cocktails.I do know that I like Sangria, which is made by the jugful, so it's not a cocktail….I know that whole strawberries put into the bottom of the glass, then eaten after they've soaked in the Sangria are very yummy.

  9. I'm a big cocktail lover- especially Margaritas :)I'm not sure how it would go, but you could try…1C Pink Grapefruit Sparkly Stuff1/2 C Lime Juice (about 4? Limes)1 C Cointreu/Orange flavoured liquer1 C Tequila3 C IceBlitz it all up in a blender till its all mixed and slushy.Pour into cocktail glasses that have been rimmed with salt (wipe the edge with lime and dip in salt)Serves…at least 4 :)Now I really want a cocktail.Good luck in your cocktail hunt xx

  12. My favourites include..1 – Vodka, pink grapefruit, soda over ice.2 – Vodka, lemonbalm & gingerale over ice.(muddled a bit to extract flavour out of lemonbalm)3 – Gin, lemon, tonic over ice4 – Tequila, lime, soda over ice5 – Tequila, Raspberry, lime, soda over ice.I only use diet mixers, because who needs the carbs?Enjoy :)xx

  13. Sailor Jerry + fresh muddled lime + a hint of mint – Build over ice & add the Soda Stream Ginger Ale with Soda. Purrrrfect summer drink, so refreshing and the mild, spiced and slightly vanilla-y aftertaste of the Sailor Jerry balances out the sweetness without having to add anything sugary. PERFECT for #SugarfreeSuger
