Were most of you here when I did Ocsober? Well if not, you won’t know how much I got from the experience. How confronting I found it when I found myself saying no to drinks for a mere 30 days, for no good reason really. I found it interesting how much I used alcohol to wind down after a busy or stressful day. Or how much money we spent in the span of a month on drinking.
I heard about Dry July then and I said I would do. So here I am. Starting another month of sobriety. And you have the opportunity to sponsor me. The funds will go to;
The Mater Adult Hospital, Brisbane
and support adults being treated for Cancer. I assume it will fund those services and facilities that attempt to make it easier, more comfortable, less HOLY SHIT. There are more detail linked to my participant profile page.
The end of my adventure will be the Hello Blogger Events Pre Blogopolis Drinks on the 29th of July. So just like Ocsober where I called it early to attend my school reunion this is my plan again. My first drink will be there. Come and celebrate with me.
