My Sweet Life ~ Family Edition

There is nothing in this world I love more than my family. The family I was born with and the family I chose for myself. My family love to hang out together. Let me tell you a little tale about us.

The photo above was taken during a family photo shoot we did a few years ago. Almost three I would say. While Bambi {the photographer} was taking some photos of Mum & Dad we gathered around the attempt to bluetooth a ringtone to each other and on to Bambi’s phone. And I’d bet you know the one.

You remember the Hahn ad where the guys phone rings at his girlfriends parents place for dinner. And the song, heehee, the song plays… I’m a tits and ass man… etc etc. That one! And we laughed and laughed. And in the end we decided we would head to the local show and continue on the evening. Partying together.

And that’s not even counting the literally dozens of cousin’s I have and love. The friends I have who have known me for so long they are might as well be blood. The 16 sets of Aunts and Uncle’s. Or the in-laws. Or the kids of my cousins. So of which who are older than I am. Family. It’s my thing. It is one of the primary things that make my life what it is.

After all. Wherever you go, there you are. And I believe, family has a lot to do with that. Sooooooo…

This week My Sweet Life’s theme is family. Share with us a photo or post {new or old} that shows off how cool, or how sweeeeet your family is. Remember the rules are simple. Add the link to the post or photo you would like to share, visit some other entries and put the button in your sidebar or in the post {if it’s your thing}.

  1. Ohhh…I miss my family. All my Uncles & cousins live in NZ and I don't see them very often. It's such a shame as we all get on really well and would have a blast together if we were closer.

  2. My family were like a bunch of misfits thrown into a house together. My brother and I get on a little better now that we're older.Thankfully my kids are much better friends with each other. But there'll be no photos, I promised them their privacy.

  3. I'm in! Your family sounds like lots of fun to be around.

  4. I really loved this photo and to find out it is a natural shot makes me like it even more :)I also just worked out how this is going to run (call me blonde)and promise I will read more carefully from now on :P
