| Cake batter. Bowls. Oven preheated. Pan ready. |
| Split the cake batter. All the colours. Green. Blue. Orange. Red. Purple. |
| Poured it in, one colour at a time. |
| Well it’s baking, obviously. |
| Cooked. Yummo. Smells delish. It was definitely too soon to eat it though. Boo. |
| Next day {THE DAY}. Betty & My sister come together to ice the cake. |
| Looking good. Umm. Sorta. Great colours. |
| Such concentration. Sooooo much frosting. |
| What the heck. Add sprinkles. |
| Ooooooo. Finished product. |
| After cutting. And eating. And some melting of the icing. It’s freakin’ hot here today. |
There she is. My very first RAINBOW CAKE. Pretty ain’t she.
Ok. So not really. But well, we tried.
Another birthday over. 28, loving it so far. Thank you all for the kind words and birthday wishes. I have read them all. In fact, you all have inspired a post. Not a gushy thank you post. A social media and special occasions type post. This is supposed to be the gushy thank you post. Was it gushy enough for you? Not really. Oh. Sorry about that. Ha.
