Soooo…

Little Bro & I ~ Melbourne Cup 2009’ish, I think
My birthday is in March. Mark your calendars. I love birthdays. I love the celebration of another year passing. Another opportunity to review and reassess. And this year, I’m going to head to the races the weekend before my birthday. Bust out the races gear {despite the fact my home town down races styling from stubbies and thongs right through to sky high heels and plunging necklines} and go have some betting, champaign type fun!!
And I’m excited.
I haven’t been to the races in aaaaaggggggeeeeessss. And I have a plan for an outfit. I just really, really, need to find a tuxedo print t-shirt to wear. With a pencil skirt and crazy heels and a top hat. That’s what I’m thinking. If you can’t fit in you might as well stand out, right!? I might skip the top hat. We’ll see.
Do you celebrate birthdays?
EVERY year!? Like a kid, with excitement and joy and total abandon?

  2. As you know, I'm celebrating big time this year! 30, here I come! xx

  3. As I get older, I actually like them more and more, so we celebrate a bit bigger each year. For some reason, I appreciate each year a bit more. Kinda backwards from what I had expected when I was younger!

  4. I try and make my birthday a full week extravaganza. (It's April 23). I see you attempt to do the same.

  5. You so have to wear the Top Hat it will complete the look :) On my sisters advice last year I celebrated not just the day of my birth but the whole week :)
