| Finally… |
So here we are people. The evening of December 23rd. Tomorrow the season begins in earnest. Or the reason for the season at least {I stole that line from the church billboard near my house. Jesus is the reason for the season. Thanks for that dude. I’m exhausted}. And this time of year has really done it to me this year. As in done my head in.
Actually served a notice to leave that expired today. Can you believe that. What a Christmas bitch I am. I actually attempted to make someone homeless for, GASP, Christmas. Rest assured, I will not be getting an Ebenezer Scrooge type visit. Because I was unsuccessful. Apparently the magistrates court are closed until the 4th so I can’t get a warrant of possession until then. Merry Christmas. More free rent for you. Thanks JUDGE!
Gosh.
And I only say gosh because all my swearing was used up earlier today. After comforting the owner, reassuring her that all looked fine, that we need to hang tight. I swore a lot after that. And this is a small arrears one. I’m glad it’s not a big one. But on the up side I have received a ton of bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates, gift boxes and even a pretty spesh skincare mask thingy {for RELAXING}. Does it make it all worth it? Hmm. I’ll tell you tomorrow at noon.
Darn. That paragraph I was meant to change the subject way from my job. Clearly it didn’t. Oh well. Try again huh. Did you know. Had I told you, that Hubby and I have a fairly low key Christmas planned? There are a few key things we are going to. I plan to properly catch up my family and my cutie new niece {who has been neglected severely in the past few weeks thanks to late finish times and new found dedication to the gym. Go me}.
Mostly we are curling up together, watching movies and {I am} praying for rain to make couch cuddling a total essential. I plan to stockpile groceries and not move. I will cook for us. Which I love to do. And we’ll get to hang out. It had better be cold and rainy. I have even got the doona back out ready.
Madness really.
December in South Est Queensland and I have my doona out. Most of my Christmas memories involve wilting in the heat or burning in the sun while in the pool to escape the heat. I do recall a rather cool Christmas a few years back at the Sunshine Coast. We were at my parent unit on the Maroochy River and I wore a sweater all day. Weird.
So there you go. That was today. Lot of anger, disappointment, pressies and thoughts about Christmas. Oh and tonight we laid 50m of turf after 7.30pm. After my gym work out. I am pooped.
