And the storm rolls in…

Today was one of those days that I am glad that I lug around my massive camera. You see today a big old summer storm rolled in and I was able to capture it {around completing an entry condition report} from start to finish. So here they are, my images of this afternoon’s summer storm…
Fluffy cloud with a storm cloud chaser

Rains a come’n

5 minutes later – driving across town

The storm and I have arrived

Kinda scary looking

And then, the winds start.

Followed closely by the rain

And 20 minutes later, it is all over.
Do you like storms? Or are you more like my cousin Bec and would rather hide out under your bed? {Haha. Are you reading my blog today Bec!?}

  1. I love these photos. Taking time to observe the weather is always worth it. I am often stunned by the speed at which it changes.

  2. As a winter gal I L~O~V~E storms, rain, thunder, wind [which is just as well living in the one of the windiest cities in the world] – love it all!!What kind of camera do you have?~x~

  3. Beautiful isn't it. Miss Ruby, It is a Nikon D3000. Entry level DSLR. The great part is these photos are unedited. It is that good in an amateur's hands.

  4. Love the shot of the big old grey cloud. Storms can be both beautiful and frightening and exciting and they can bring change – just like life I guess!

  5. What a massive storm! You took some very nice photos~ All we get is teasing down here. Black sky and a few rain drops ;;
